On 16 May 2023, the new Law on Taxation ("new Taxation Law") was promulgated. The New Taxation Law abrogates the 1997 Law on Taxation, 2003 amendment of Law of Taxation (the “Old Taxation Law”), and other rules and regulations that are contrary to the New Taxation Law.
