The Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), the Cambodia Microfinance Association and the Cambodian Association of Finance & Technology has joint issued Banking and Financial Institutions Code of Conduct which came into effect on 4 March 2022.
This was warmly welcomed in the banking industry as it promoted effective, reliable, accountable and responsible banking and financial practices, build a fair and professional relationship between consumers and the banking and financial institutions based on the principles of equity and equality, and increase trust in the banking and financial system.
