On 30 August 2023, the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training issued Notification on Application for Quota Approval on Foreign Labour Employment for 2024.
This reminds all owners or directors of enterprises or establishments who hire foreign employees to apply for quota approval from 1 at September 2023 to 30th November 2023 through website: www.fwcms.mlvt.gov.kh.
If the owners or directors of the enterprises or establishments hiring the foreign employees without quota approval violating the Article 264 of the Labor Law, the owners or directors of the enterprises or establishments shall be fined with the value of sixty-one days to ninety days of the daily wage or sentenced to imprisonment from six days to one month in accordance with Article 369 of the Labour Law.
