On 30 December 2021, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training (MoLVT) issued Prakas NO. 358/21 On Launching Of Self-Declared Labor Inspection Regime And Conducting Of Labor Inspection Through The Automated System (Prakas 358/21).

Objective

MoLVT launch the self-declared labor inspection regime and conduct of labor inspection through the automated system in order to manage labor inspection data in Cambodia via the automated system, https://sicms.mlvt.gov.kh/, from 1 January 2022.

Responsibilities of owners or directors

The owners or directors of factories or enterprises shall fulfill the information in the report of the self-declared labor inspection regime via the automated system 2 (two) times per year, the first time in June and the second time in December of each year, and update the information in the report of the self-declared labor inspection regime before the date of the ordinary labor inspection by the labor inspectors.

Labor inspections

The labor inspector shall conduct ordinary labor inspection only once a year at the factory or enterprise, except for special labor inspection for the purpose of monitoring restrictions through complaints or being informed of violations on relevant laws and regulations.
