On 21 September 2022, Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training issued Prakas 247/22 on Determination of Minimum Wage for Workers/Employees in the Textile, Garment, Footwear, Travel Goods and Bag Industries for 2023.
The minimum wage for probationary workers/employees is at US$ 198 per month. After passing probation, the workers/employees shall receive a minimum wage of US$ 200.
