On 31 March 2022, Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR) issued Notification on Provision of Additional Time for Submission of Notification of Use of English in Accounting System to ACAR.
This Notification is to remind obligations based on Circular 009 on the Usage of Khmer Language and Currency in Accounting Records and Financial Statements. Click here to learn more about Circular 009.
To help enterprise who face problems or have not yet submit Notification of Use of English in Accounting System, ACAR decides to provide additional time of 30 days starting from 1 April to 30 April 2022. Failure to do so by this above results in penalties laid out in Sub-Decree 79 dated 1 June 2020 on Provisional fines for the violation of the Law on Accounting and Auditing.
